Between the release of the latest magazine, the collaboration with Maison du Courtage and the creation of a life-annuity department, the Sotheby’s International Realty France-Monaco network agencies have had lots of news in the last few weeks.

The latest publication of Sotheby’s France-Monaco magazine, “Style”, has just been published. Across nearly 300 pages, this 18th issue gives pride of place to charming French and Monegasque homes..

The new regional magazine

A collaboration with la Maison du Courtage

Pour faciliter l’obtention de financements immobiliers pour ses clients, le réseau Sotheby’s International Realty France-Monaco a conclu une collaboration nationale avec la Maison du Courtage.

Their brokers can intervene to support the realisation of many projects, namely:

• Classic mortgages ;
• Mortgage loans in France for multi-owner customers (through French, Belgian and German banks)
• Short-term loans for real estate professionals
• Mortgage and/or lombard loans via European private banks ;
• Financing of professional projects.

Creating of a life-annuity department

The network is currently developing a new offer with the creation of a service entirely dedicated to sales involving life annuity, at an international level: : « Viagers France Sotheby’s International Realty ».

These transactions include DUH sales (Droit d’Usage et d’Habitation, right of use and dwelling) which constitute a modern and efficient alternative to traditional life annuity

Led by life annuity specialists, this new department will promote the sale of atypical properties.

Guérin-Paulsen publishing Chamonix

Known for their red covers, the Guérin books are an essential reference for mountain lovers. The Guérin boutique, located in the heart of Chamonix, is a true literary refuge for mountaineers and adventurers

Founded in 1995 in Chamonix by Michel Guérin, passionate about climbing and the mountains, the publishing house specialises in the republication of classic mountain literature. Marianne Terray, wife of French mountaineer Lionel Terray, trusted him to republish her husband's book, “Les Conquérants de l’inutile". He was immediately successful, attracting other big names in mountaineering. In twelve years, Éditions Guérin published about eighty-five books. 

Despite the death of its founder in 2007, the publishing house is continuing its work: :

• In 2011, Editions Guérin was bought by Swedish entrepreneur Frederik Paulsen;
• In 2015, the Paulsen editions registered the "Éditions Guérin" trademark. .

The books cover topics ranging from autobiographies to fiction and essays. The publishing house also publishes the High Mountain Group’s magazine (GHM), photo albums and videos, thus contributing to the promotion of mountains and adventure.

With its rich heritage and commitment to adventure literature, the Guérin brand continues to inspire mountain enthusiasts and push the limits of exploration through its many works.
