Les Houches: a magnificent natural and cultural heritage

Located in the heart of the Arve valley, just 7 kilometres from Chamonix, Les Houches is a great village to live in, offering its inhabitants a successful mix of calm and energy.

Overlooked by the Christ-Roi statue – a 25-metre-high monument – the village is the ideal place to settle in the valley, both to reside year-round or to acquire a second home.

Les Houches is above all a “Family friendly” ski resort, culminating at 1900 metres above sea level. Very popular for the quality of the snow, the ski area is accessible via the Bellevue cable car or the Prarion cable car. It can also be reached by the Mont Blanc tramway.

Located in the village, Lac des Chavants offers a breath-taking view of the Mont Blanc massif. This outdoor activity hub is the perfect place for a family picnic or a walk in nature. Many activities are offered during the summer such as climbing, fishing and games.
